Back To The 1980’s

Designers today are drawing inspiration from the trendy 1980’s when clothes and accessories were inspired by music, creativity and a strong sense of rustic fashion. Those were the days when young girls spent an entire week planning their Sunday wardrobe. Quiet unlike the ‘ready-to-wear’ anything fashion of today.

The eighties were not just about shoulder pads, they were about splashes of bright colors, bold strokes, bizarre patterns and making your own fashion designing statement. When else could you have worn a mini skirt with leg warmers and an oversize jumper! Or parachute pants with finger less gloves and got away with it.

Over sized tops with bold patterns, tights and danglers were so eighties, fun and out of this world. Today’s designers are taking their cue from the era gone by and are trying to recreate that energy, that was so integral to bold dressing trends in those days.
