Part Time MBA Courses or Waste of Time

MBA courses are the most sought out study programs where students have lots of possibilities to grow further and can create an excellent career. With this hope, a certain percentage of Indian students are enrolling in various part time MBA courses. Here lies the question whether these students get the equal opportunity like the regular MBA candidates, or not. It is tough to solve this puzzle.

Is it true that Part Time MBA courses are Priceless in the Job Market?-An analysis

We are well concerned about the fact that MBA courses help in career building. Today, it is a dream of majority of the Indian students to purse business management courses so that they can get recruited in the top corporations as managers. But often because of the cut off marks and finances, some of these students find it difficult to join a full time MBA program. This is the high time when they must attend the part time courses and fulfill their aspirations to achieve an MBA degree. Another section of students joins jobs and they aim to complete their MBA via online degree courses. These are some of the circumstances based on which students initiate to attend part time post graduation courses in business management.

Now the question arises whether these students are equal to the regular MBA candidates to compete in the job market or not. To explain this let’s take the example of Mr. Neeraj Arya who is now a deputy manager in a Telecom Corp; once pursued a part time management course from IIM-A.  This institute is arguably the best Indian management academy. What Neeraj tried to point out here is that, initially he was cruelly disappointed during the job interview rounds. The reason was that he had pursued a part time MBA course. Later things sorted out and today he is doing excellent in this career.  Therefore, students have to do lots of research on the part time courses they are advancing for and will have to judge the possibilities of these certifications in the job market.
